Brandon L Pitman
Managing Partner

Brandon comes from a business oriented family, and has learned through first-hand experience how to be effective and efficient in his business practices.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee in March 1984, he quickly developed an interest in the world and the people around him. As a child, Brandon's personal interests were geared toward changing and improving the quality of life for himself and for others. He started his work life in a fast food restaurant near his high school, where he worked during his 11th and 12th grade years, until he graduated in June 2002.

From there, Brandon joined the Missouri Army National Guard while attending college. He left the National Guard in 2003 to help his mother regain her stability after a car accident that left her with a broken collar bone and dislocated knee. He remained in Kansas City, Missouri during this time, continuing to work in the food industry. While working for a family-owned restaurant, Brandon was offered and accepted into a position working for a family-owned Fixed-Based Operator (small airport operator), that would eventually be sold to a much larger company.

He graduated from the University of Phoenix - Kansas City with an Associate's of Arts in the Foundations of Business in May 2011. While working his way through college, Brandon worked two full-time jobs, assisted his mother, and found time to pursue a long-distance relationship out of Boston, Massachusetts; and on September 1, 2011, Brandon moved from Kansas City to Boston, and truly learned the meaning of being humbled.

Within the first month of living in Massachusetts, Brandon lost his position with the airport due to paperwork processing errors. He quickly returned to the food industry, hoping for anything that was available. He found a part-time job making $10.00 an hour working for a small deli just outside Boston, and worked for this company for the next year. In 2012​, he met a local psychiatrist who owned his own practice and began working for the doctor performing maintenance work as a part-time position. During this time, Brandon continued his college education, and graduated in February 2013 with his Bachelor's of Science in Business Marketing with a minor in the Foundations of Business.

In 2013, when the psychiatric practice dissolved, Brandon left his position as Administrative Bookkeeper for the Medical Director. As plans developed and Brandon learned that the doctor's office was destined to be closed, he decided to pursue the world of entrepreneurship. In October 2013, Brandon founded Essential Connections and has since redeveloped the business structure, including the name; and today is the Owner and Founder of EC Sales and Development.

Brandon's goal is to help small business owners stabilize their presence in a world that is so easily taken over by larger businesses. He has seen multiple sides of small business, including best and worst practices; excellent and not-so-excellent customer service techniques; and both sides of the employee appreciation spectrum. He is determined to share these experiences in hopes of helping other small business owners reach their maximum potential, and is anxious to see what awaits EC Sales and Development.​
